As a classic calligrapher, I gravitate towards the traditional and time-honored styles of pointed pen scripts. I was a cookbook editor who unexpectedly came across a YouTube video of an expert slowly writing with a pointed pen with black ink on silky smooth paper. I was so struck by the beauty I was watching that I knew in that moment that I was on a new path. I like to say that calligraphy found me. And I have never been happier.

A life-long resident of New York City, I embrace every moment I spend in this pulsating, ever-changing, and exciting city. It’s where I call home.
